Advent 2022

Advent 2022

The season of Advent is all about waiting.
Anticipating. Longing. Hoping.

Advent, from a Latin word meaning “coming” or “arrival,” is a tradition that’s been observed by the church for hundreds of years. It’s a season given to the celebration of the first coming of Jesus in humility and to the anxious anticipation of His second coming in glory. It’s a time for remembering and rejoicing, as well as, for watching and waiting

We’d love for you to join us in this time of remembering and rejoicing, as well as, watching and waiting. Here’s how:

First, we’ve created an Advent Devotional for you to engage in Scripture and other seasonal practices that will draw your attention to Jesus. You can simply click here to download the Advent Devotional or pick up a copy at our Sunday Gatherings in December. Also, we’ve curated songs into a Spotify playlist for you to enjoy in your home or on the go. Just click here to access the Spotify playlist

Secondly, we’ve planned a couple gatherings that we’d love to see you attend. On Sunday, 11/27, we’ll begin our Advent celebration by gathering in City Groups for our morning worship. If you do not belong to a City Group, but would like more info, please click here. Then, on Monday, 11/28 at 5:30 pm, you’re invited to join us at our Dinner + Decorate Party to prepare our space for the season.

Finally, please make your plans to worship with us on Saturday, 12/24 at 5:30 pm, at our Christmas Eve Evening Worship and then again on Sunday, 12/25 at 10:00 am, for our Christmas Day Worship Gathering.

We sincerely hope and pray that you’ll experience more of Jesus during this Advent season through these resources and gatherings.
