Even though 2021 officially commenced a few weeks ago, we still feel the tremors of 2020. The unexpected disruptions, distancing, and displacement continue to challenge our faith in God’s plans and purposes. Yet, we’ve experienced God continual provision throughout all of these unprecedented moments.
With a desire to press forward despite the difficulties in our present circumstances, we turn to the book of Hebrews for encouragement. Hebrews 12:1-2 states, “Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every hindrance and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” This passage paints a powerful portrait of our core value of tenacity. By embracing this value of tenacity, we believe that Bay Cities Fellowship would be Here For Good in 2021.
In the following pages, you’ll see an overview of our plan to live with tenacity n regards to our purposes and our place.
